Consortium partners met at Ocean Infinity’s Porto office to advance the development of robotic operations for the offshore wind sector.
On 15 October 2025, the AEROSUB consortium gathered for its 2nd Stakeholders Workshop, hosted by Ocean Infinity at the company’s offices in Porto, Portugal.
The workshop focused on defining the next steps for unmanned operations beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) within the offshore wind industry. Partners collaborated closely to explore how AEROSUB’s robotic systems can ensure safe, efficient, and autonomous operations across a range of environments, from surface and aerial inspections to subsea maintenance and automated cleaning.
This interactive session brought together technical expertise from across the consortium, fostering dialogue on system integration, operational safety, and regulatory compliance. The outcomes will play a key role in shaping how AEROSUB’s innovative robotic platforms support sustainable offshore wind development.
The workshop marked another important milestone in AEROSUB’s mission to deliver cutting-edge robotic solutions that enhance safety, sustainability, and efficiency across offshore wind operations.
