The AEROSUB consortium officially launched its ambitious initiative with a Kick-Off Meeting in Porto on 13th January 2025, bringing together leading experts to drive innovation in robotic and AI-driven solutions for offshore wind energy.
The meeting provided a moment for project partners to align on key objectives, review the project’s current status, and outline the next steps. As part of the event, the first seminar on Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Offshore Wind was held, highlighting the project’s core themes, and demonstrating its transformative potential in the energy sector.
The event fostered discussions on the various Work Packages and planned activities throughout the project’s duration, all focused on optimising offshore wind operations. AEROSUB brings together a diverse and highly skilled consortium of industry leaders and research institutions dedicated to shaping the future of offshore wind energy.
