AEROSUB will be present at the WindEurope Annual Event 2026, one of Europe’s leading gatherings for the wind energy sector, taking place from 21-23 April at IFEMA in Madrid. The event is expected to bring together more than 16,000 participants, around 600 exhibiting companies, and over 400 speakers across a wide-ranging programme of sessions, presentations, and technical posters. Over the course of three days, policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers will come together to address the central role of wind energy in Europe’s transition to a net-zero energy system, strengthening energy independence, competitiveness, and long-term resilience.
AEROSUB’s participation comes at a time when Europe is accelerating its shift towards clean energy, with wind power playing an increasingly strategic role in ensuring a secure and sustainable energy future.
Our partner Miguel Brito, Project Manager at EDP, will present the poster “AEROSUB: Enabling Scalable, Unmanned Operations & Maintenance for Floating Offshore Wind Farms.” The presentation will introduce how the project is developing robotic solutions to make offshore wind safer, more efficient and easier to maintain.
Participation in WindEurope 2026 further reinforces AEROSUB’s position at the forefront of technological innovation in offshore wind, within an event that brings together key decision-makers and experts shaping the future of the industry.
